Dan's Top Surgery Fund!

Hey friends!

My name is Dan, and I'm a trans guy from Florida, currently living in Atlanta. I just got my license to work as a massage therapist, and finally have health insurance that will help me get top surgery, but I still need help!

The summer after I graduated high school, around 2013, I started to question my gender. I started to socially transition, telling trusted friends, and then coming out in college, and finally starting to come out to my family late 2015, when I started testosterone. It helped so much with destroying dysphoria and bringing me gender euphoria! 

Between then and now, I've struggled with near-homelessness, 3 cars dying, underpaying jobs, and trying to stay stealth at work. Because of unpaid student loans from college (that I am just now entering a financial situation to begin paying), I am unable to take out a loan to assist me in my gender journey. 

I plan on getting a double mastectomy from Dr. Frederick Work here in Atlanta, which will cut down on travel and hotel costs! They're able to work with my insurance and get most of it covered! I'm looking for money to cover my deductible, surgical binder, and time off of work for recovery.  If all goes well with my insurance I plan on scheduling for this winter!
