Daniel Ramirez Medina & Family Fund

Update: Daniel turned 24 years old in the Northwest Detention Center yesterday. Despite these unjust and heartbreaking circumstances, Daniel's spirits were high knowing that he has a tremendous amount of support from all of you. Thank you all for showing your support in the various ways that you are able to.
I am part of the legal team at Barrera Legal Group. We received the call from Daniel's family regarding Daniel's detention and took the case on pro bono. This GoFundMe page is to raise funds that will go directly to Daniel and his family. Daniel Ramirez Medina is currently being unlawfully detained by DHS. Daniel - a two time recipient of DACA - has no criminal history and should have been released when he provided proof of his DACA status to the ICE officials. While Daniel is in detention, his family is suffering both emotionally and economically. Daniel's 3 year old U.S. citizen son relies on his father's support. All funds raised for Daniel Ramirez Medina are for Daniel and his family. These funds will help alleviate the economic burden that Daniel and his family are facing during his detention.
