Daniel’s support of Uganda CRNA student Joyce

Dr. Daniel Payne, DNP, MS, AGACNP, CRNA, EMT-P was a mentor and inspiration to many-especially Joyce. He met Joyce while on a medical mission (Team Restore Vision) in Uganda with Operation International in 2022. Joyce’s dream was to become a CRNA and Daniel supported Joyce professionally and financially as she studied to become a nurse anesthetist.

Those of us who knew, worked with and loved Daniel want to continue his support for Joyce and her studies.

In grief, we often find purpose. And the purpose of this fundraiser is to keep the love and light that Daniel embodied shining strong in his unbearable absense.

Please help us “#sharehislight” and donate what you can. We need $10,000 by 2/16/24 to keep Joyce’s studies going. She is halfway through her schooling at this time.

(Please note this goal and date were updated when we reached our initial goal. This new goal is the full tuition for Joyce’s year.)

All collected money will go to Joyce’s tuition and room and board (her school is 6 hours away from her home) less the GoFundMe % via MFS Africa payment system from the organizer.

In the event there is more than requested, the money will be given to create a scholarship fund in Daniel’s name-continuing his education and mentorship forever.
