DeCourtney Prather’s Fundraising

Hi everyone, I’m fundraising for my son De’Courtney Prather , He has kidney failure and couldn’t afford to pay for his dialysis treatment nor his primary physician visits. He was very stressed out due to this. Courtney couldn’t get approved for medical insurance such as Medicare / Medicaid because he did not qualify. Courtney was very intelligent , healthy , very independent, exercised, ate healthy meals and was a personal chef for many under his LLC named Cort’s Catering & Events which he went full time after loosing his job at American Home Shield. He was also a caregiver for his grandmother until his health took a turn for the worse. Prior to visiting Dominican Republic for his 37th birthday August of last year , he had taken 3 Covid shots which we strongly believe triggered his underlined illness ( Moderna, Johnson-Johnson and the Boost),soon after he had become very fatigue and encountered eczema with swollen legs, feet which altered his ability to walk, drive his car and live his normal day to day life. By the time his physician referred Courtney to go to the emergency room due to his financial situation he was treated, but it was too late because both his kidneys failed abruptly. He moved from 2 different hospitals and all doctors have done all that they can do such as prescribe him several different medications on top of dialysis to the point that his brain has been effected. My son can no longer respond or react which has taken a toll on his family and friends because he’s no longer the Courtney we all know him to be which is so very heartbreaking. I am fundraising for his next steps.
