Delanie's Mercer on Mission Trip!!
Don protégé
Before I even started attending Mercer, I found out about their Mercer on Mission Vietnam trip and I knew it was something that I had to be a part of one day! The goal of this trip is to help the millions of people in Vietnam injured by the remaining landmines from the war. Since 2009, the Mercer On Mission Vietnam program has fit more than 7,000 amputees, and treated more than 40,000 orthopaedic patients. I am currently majoring in Biomedical Engineering at Mercer and a huge part of that field is working with prosthetics. So, for me, this trip is not only a huge learning opportunity but also an opportunity for me to help others in need!! I do need a little financial help when it comes to paying for the trip and that's why I created this page. I currently need about $1750 for the remaining tuition of the trip and any amount of contribution is greatly appreciated! This remaining portion of my tuition for the trip is due sometime in May so I am hoping to raise that amount by then! Also, I want to extend a huge thank you to all of those who have already contributed to my trip by donating for the deposit.
