Devastated Dreams

On January 7th we were devastated by the news our van was stolen and with it our entire business.

Hello to you,

I'm Rebecca and my husband Aaron and I started our small company, All Natural Shea Butter in 2012.

We lost everything.

It is a humbling feeling to be in the position of asking for help as this was our livelihood and our life.

We are asking for any support that anyone can spare in our situation.

We didn't just lose our van that I had reduced the insurance on 3 days before to save a little money so it is not covered,

but even more important were the things in the van that will take time and a lot of money to replace.

You see, we travel to shows throughout the Midwest and had our van stocked full of products in preparing for one of our biggest shows of the year. We are dedicated to providing all natural hand made skin care products and are based in South Dakota.

We lost our hand made products themselves which took us hundreds of hours to print, label, mix, fill, and the thousands of samples to be ready for the show.

Our displays and decorations, back drops, the display tables we designed and made.

Thousands and thousands of dollars in supplies and resources to make our products and even our color laser printer.

We are praying to find a van in time before the next show as we are looking for a Ford E350 Cargo Van with low mileage on it and low cost in order to have a large reliable vehicle we can travel far distances in the Midwest with enough room for the inventory needed.

We are going to use the money to purchase supplies and make the inventory needed for the next shows and rebuild years worth of hard work.

God has gotten us through many trials and difficulties in the past and I'm curious in what good will come out of this big mess.

I believe God is bigger than all of this.

Before I married Aaron I lived in Ghana, West Africa for 9 months working with missionaries and helping out with whatever was needed.

I discovered the amazing ingredient of raw shea butter in the marketplace and it completely changed my life.

When I moved to South Dakota I was a Certified Nursing Assistant at a nursing home for advanced Alzheimer's and the only way my hands survived the constant washing and glove wearing was my shea butter I had brought back with me from Africa. That is when Aaron and I decided to start All Natural Shea Butter and our small business grew every year. I have very sensitive skin and realized many other people do as well. We have learned so much and met so many incredible people.
