In loving memory of Ivan Ceolin

In mid April, my dad Ivan was unexpectedly diagnosed with lung cancer. Unfortunately, he was subject to a very aggressive variation of this disease which led to his condition worsening very quickly. About a month and a half after his initial diagnosis Ivan passed away (June 3rd). My dad was always a very dependable man who took care of his family no matter the sacrifice he had to make. He allowed for my sister and I to grow up in a place full of opportunities, but sadly he will not be able to see us grow up and achieve the bright futures he had envisioned for us.
This unexpected situation has also put my mother under a lot of stress. From our perspectives, the local medical system has failed us and continues to do so, but through the immense sorrow she persevered, attempting to find any way to treat/improve my dad’s suffering.
During this time of grief I am fundraising to help my mom with the medical and funeral related expenses and hopefully any additional financial burdens she might encounter. I know times are tough so any help will be incredibly appreciated.
