Debbie’s Open Heart Surgery

On February 1st, 2021 my mom went in for a stress test after having on going issues with her health. After failing her stress test her doctor grew very worried. She was admitted into the hospital immediately where they ran more tests and discovered my mom, at 66 years old has stuffed a heart attack and has been suffering mini heart attacks which they originally thought was just indigestion. After doing a dye test it was confirmed she has more than one blockage in her arteries, starving her heart of oxygen. She was transported to AdventHealth in Winter Park where she will under go a quadruple bypass open heart surgery on Monday February 8th. 

my mom has worked her entire life and even up to being admitted. She is 66 and lives by herself. She is on a very limited fixed income with social security and unfortunately we don’t, as a family, have enough funds to help her get by the next few months financially. We are going to do everything we can to help as much as we can during this time. I’m reaching out to all of you to please help in any way. Even if it’s just $1. 

This absolutely amazing woman truly needs help and I promise I couldn’t think of a more deserving person than her. She sacrificed her own happiness and life to raise three children she was not biological responsible for. She has worked tremendously hard to be able to take care of herself. She has given up so much in life and has done all she can to provide for herself. She has always no matter what been there when anyone needed her. And now it’s our turn to be there for her. She is not one to ask for help, she just keeps doing whatever necessary to get by. Truly the most remarkable person I have ever been blessed to have. She has never depended on anyone but with this unforeseen situation, she is facing a very difficult recovery ahead with now a financial burden. She will need at least three months to recover before she can again provide an income for herself. My family and I and I know my mom will too, greatly appreciate any help.
