Dogs in Uganda need you ❤️

Dear friends,

 

My name is Nsubuga Frank and I'm from Uganda, where I dedicate my life to saving street dogs and cats from Mityana.

 

A bit more of my story: I grew up in the Nabulagala slums from Kampala. On a given day walking to school I saw this little dog lying on the ground. He was suffering a lot but nobody around seemed to care about the poor animal. I asked my mum to bring him home but our landlord wouldn't allow us to have pets in our apartment. Sadly, the next day the dog had already passed away. I couldn't save him....

 

That is why I went back to my hometown, Mityana, and started a shelter to save all dogs and cats in need that I could.

 

Today, together with my friend Ssemirimu Alex we are working to finish our shelter in Mityana.

 

And that is why we are kindly asking for your help - to help street dogs and cats have a better life. Their life is hard and lonely: it is very difficult for them to get food and water. People are not kind to them and they face terrible risks every day such as:

 

Our plan is to build a shelter that will be able to accommodate 100 dogs and 20 cats.
