Support Lane (Tuff) Cameron in his recovery

Hi, my name is Mackenzie and I am fundraising on behalf of Lane (Tuff) Cameron. This past friday, May 26th, Tuff and I were on a boat with some friends, when the boat exploded. Tuff took the brunt of the explosion, suffering third degree partial thickness burns to his legs and feet. Friday night, Tuff took an ambulance from Sandpoint, ID to Coeur d'Alene, ID and from there was Life Flighted by plane to Harborview Burn Clinic in Seattle, WA. Tuff is in a lot of pain, unable to sleep through the night, and needs assistance walking, changing clothes, and bathing. Standing up to move around causes him extreme pain, but is required to prevent blood clots and preserve range of motion. He is recovering with home care provided mainly by me, and frequent trips to the Seattle burn clinic for wound care and bandage changes. We have another trip to seattle at the end of the week where the doctors will change his first set of bandages, and check the status of the wounds, where we will then know more accurately how long his recovery will be. Currently we estimate that he will not be back to full working condition for two months. The boat owners do not have insurance on their boat, and Tuff does not have medical insurance since he has just started a new job after moving up here to Sandpoint, ID, and has not completed his 90-day waiting period for his insurance to kick in. We have reached out to many places to try to get help first before posting this GoFundMe. We have reached out to the hospital billing department, HR at his work, as well as the union hall, with no luck getting any assistance. We have also reached out to other companies that he has monthly bills through like his student loans, in an attempt to get some payments deferred, also with no luck yet. As you can imagine, bills are piling up fast for us, with LifeFlight, the emergency room visit, the hospital stays at the burn center, travel expenses to and from Seattle including hotel rooms as I am not allowed to stay in the hospital past 9:00pm, and prescriptions. This is a lot especially when we have no income coming in while he is recovering. I am working on trying to get my business up and running but since we just relocated to this part of Idaho, I do not have a clientele base built up yet. Any help we can get is GREATLY appreciated.
