This local business is close to my heart as my wife and I were a part of its inception. It's 2023 and this world is still filled with so much hate. #EndHate
This is a women ran/owned restaurant and art gallery that does so much for the local Charlotte community, including hosting drag brunches to raise money for charity.
I set up a GoFundMe to raise money to help cover the cost of the recent damages from vandalism. They have persevered since opening their doors. They pushed through Covid and they continue to push through hate, every day. I’m asking the community please help rally against hate and donate what you can to support my friend's business.
From their Instagram: ‘Twas the night before drag brunch, and all through the Palate, not a creature was stirring…. but some dude with a mallet. Seriously though, people suck sometimes. This isn’t the first time this has happened and is pretty disheartening. With all we do to support our community, local artists, musicians, and queer and women’s organizations, it would be amazing to feel some community support headed back our way. We’re about as small as small businesses get and hits like this can hit HARD. We’re not going anywhere, but could use a little love sent our way.
