Donate to Jonathan Sauceda's Funeral Fund

Hello this is Galilea, a niece of Jonathan Sauceda. Jonathan was a kind and caring uncle, son, and sibling to his family I can personally promise that. He would cling to his mom whenever he could even as an adult, especially since he was the youngest sibling of 5, and would always help out his siblings or nieces/nephews whenever he could. As for his place of work, he had been diligent in working at a detention center for children and youth, kids that had been seperated from their parents after crossing the border. While we all knew that the job would often take a stressful toll on his mental health, we greatly admired and respected him for his perseverance.

Yesterday around 6 in the morning, my uncle Jonathan was ran over by his boyfriend. While the motive wasn’t crystal clear, we have been informed by Jonathan’s bestfriend that the couple had been having arguments/problems recently. The story we have been given from the police is that Jonathan’s boyfriend decided to walk out of their shared apartment to leave via car after a big argument. Jonathan had then run after him and got in front of the car. He was then run over, and while his boyfriend initially claimed that he couldn’t see Jonathan since it was too early in the morning and still dark out, we have reason to believe it wasn’t the case since summer often brings out the sun as soon as 6am in our area and he might’ve just been fueled by harsh emotions. However, while things are still being investigated, it doesn’t change the fact that Jonathan has passed and we urge the help of anyone willing to donate for his funeral costs. Anything helps. Hola, soy Galilea una sobrina de Jonathan Sauceda. Jonathan era un hijo, tio, y hermano cariñoso y amable, y puedo prometerlo de mi propia cuenta. Se pegaba siempre a su madre aun cuando era adulto, especialmente porque era el mas menor de 5 hij@s, y siempre asistia con cualquier cosa que necesitara uno de sus hermanos o sobrinos o madre cuando el podria. Por su trabajo, el trabajaba en un centro de detencion de menores que habian sido separados de sus padres al cruzar la frontera. Aunque estuvimos conscientes que su trabajo lo estresaba a menudo, lo admirabamos y respetabamos por su perseverancia.

Ayer como a las 6 de la mañana, mi tio Jonathan fue atropellado por su novio. Aunque el motivo no es concreto, estuvimos informados por el mejor amigo de Jonathan que la pareja habia tenido problemas recientes. La historia que nos correspondio la policia fue que el novio de Jonathan salio de su apartamento compartido para irse en su caro despues de una discusion grande. Jonathan luego corrio detras de el y se puso en frente de el caro. Fue atropellado y aunque su novio initialmente dijo que estaba oscuro por ser muy temprano en la mañana y no lo vio, tenemos razon de creer que esto no fue el caso porque en nuestra area, el sol sale temprano alrededor de las 6 de la mañana y podria haber sido segado por sus emociones negativas. De cualquier modo, no cambia el hecho que Jonathan ha fallecido y urgimos a cualquiera que pueda ayudar a donar para el costo de su funerario. Cualquier cantidad ayuda.
