The world has lost a superhero in the passing of Niel Guilarte! He helped so many in the world of filmmaking, podcasting, and video production. Niel was a man of faith who loved his family and adored his friends. On the morning of Monday, Feb 24th, Niel was out and about when he fell to the ground and never got back up.

My last conversation with Niel was about postponing a shoot we were gonna do this past Monday because my father was in the hospital being treated for pneumonia. He told me, "Spend as much time with your father and tell him you love him because you never know when it will be the last time." Little did I know that would be the last time I would talk to Niel.

He would always say to me, if anything happens to me, please make sure my girls are okay. He leaves behind his amazing wife Noemi and his vibrant daughter Natalia, who just turned 11.

I have a simple ask. Niel always gave the most he had to his family, friends, and peers. Consider giving the most you can, investing in his wife and daughter, giving them space to grieve as they deal with the loss of a real-life Batman that always overcame the odds to come out on top in whatever he was working on.

Side Note: Niel had just purchased a new home and was rebuilding his business. He told me he was hustling hard over the next few years to make sure his girls didn't have to worry about money. He was on his way. We were all so proud of him. Unfortunately, he got called up to be with his beloved father Gus, who passed last year.
