Donation in Memory of Sebir Ghirmai Tekie

We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden and tragic passing of Sebir Ghirmai Tekie on June 16th, 2024, due to an accident in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Sebir, born on August 23, 2000, in Keren, Eritrea, was a beloved son of Ghirmai Tekie Alli and Weini Awualom Kebin and a dear brother to his siblings.

Sebir was a bright and ambitious young man who excelled academically and had a passion for technology. He pursued his studies in Computer Science at Comboni College of Science & Technology in Khartoum, Sudan, and recently began attending cybersecurity courses at CDI College in Winnipeg, MB, Canada. Sebir was known for his patience, logical thinking, and respectful nature. He was a dedicated student, a lover of music, a sports enthusiast, and a talented writer.

To honour Sebir’s memory and support his family during this difficult time, we are raising funds to cover funeral expenses. Your contributions will greatly help his family manage these unforeseen costs and allow them to focus on grieving and remembering the wonderful person Sebir was.
