Doug Coull lost home to fire

Desoto Lakes long term resident and retired navy vet has lost his home along with every belonging that he had over a life time. He is staying with friends temporarily. He has been notified by the county that his house is condemed. He has been given 30 days to notify the county of his intent to rebuild and pull permits which costs thousands. Meanwhile, he is in need of a professional dump truck and hauling service to clear the debris. He has been on a fixed income barely making ends meet and allowed his homeowners insurance to lapse in order to pay for basic needs and medications. He will need help with paying for the hauling of the debris. He also will need man power to shovel and tear down. Desoto Lakes residents would like to show their support by having a community yard sale on Saturday 4/8/2017 with proceeds added to an account that he can use to pay for the equipment to clear the lot.
