Thank you to all for the love and support from everyone here❤️ our family is really feeling the love and support from the community! We put a close to the go fund me after hearing that there will be a percentage taken from the donations. This is all very new to us and very unfamiliar territory. It is very unfortunate that my mum has passed away overseas visiting her newest grandchild for the 1st time. We’re all in shock and trying to figure things out together. We strongly believed that she should be back in Australia with all who loved her but unfortunately after learning the masive unexpected costs involved to transfer the deceased from over seas, we have come to the conclusion that having the funeral in Romania is more feasible, a lmost half of what’s expected by Australia. The funeral Director in Germany has started the process and so far the euros keep adding up and will include things like:

*transporting the frozen body and coffin from Germany to Romania-Cluj.

*(buying a last minute land portion)

*Medical and ambulance fees, in Germany (euro) because unfortunately she did not have insurance,( we were looking at organising this when she got to her pension but she never made it past 63 years old :(

*keeping her for a couple of weeks extra in the morgue in Germany (to be able to organise the family to get together there in such short notice.

*Embassy deceased certificates,

*Burial

*funeral costs

etc

If God puts even a small amount on your heart any support would be greatly appreciated! Please be aware we are doing our very best in our power and finances as a united family to do what we can in these unexpected circumstances.
