Dusina Family

The Camp Fire has affected thousands of people and hundreds of families, unfortunately my family is a part of them. After living in this home for 30 years it has vanished along with the whole community. So to say we’re devastated is an understatement, I was brought home to that house, all 3 of my older sisters and I graduated in that house, along with a million wonderful memories but my parents love for each other is what made that house a home. We are asking for help in this hard time of our lives as we feel helpless. We know my parents home is gone and we believe my sisters home is also a loss. So there are two families in need of getting back on their feet, after losing everything we’ve worked for and cherished. In 2015 my sister had surgery for her ovarian cancer and two years ago my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer. We were finally thinking we’ve caught a break, unfortunately this has now happened. My family has always giving back to the community and now we’re hoping our community  will help us in this trying time. Thank you Paradise for raising us with the best memories a girl and her family could ask for. We know we aren’t the only family, so we are paying it forward as we go. Thank you for not only helping us but for helping all families in need in California!
