Lupus/ESRD
Family, friends and loved ones, I was diagnosed with Lupus & End Stage Renal (Kidney) Disease. I'm writing to get help with a life saving kidney transplant. I’ve been persistently struggling to deal with end stage renal disease and earn the opportunity for a transplant to save my life. Every single part of this has been an emotional and financial disaster. My family can only give so much. My health hit a brick wall about a year ago and after a struggle to heal on my own, I ended up in the hospital for 3 months. I have since been on dialysis 3 days a week for 4 hours at a time (while waiting for a transplant). I am struggling to regain some sort of normality to my life but the truth is, dialysis is very difficult and it takes its toll on you. My condidtion varies greatly from day to day and treatment to treatment. More than anything, I am determined to get healthy again. I still have a lot to live for.
I am putting together a fund to raise money for the surgery and post transplant expenses and medical cost. Those expenses include lodging near the hospital after the transplant, gas back and forth from Charleston to Orangeburg, numerous lab and doctor appointments, food, medicine, surgery costs and insurance funds. Since I won’t be able to drive and I will not be able to live independently for a while after the surgery. Any help would be greatly appreciated. absolutely anything is so much appreciated. (gas cards, gift cards, food, supplies…......anything!)
So I ask everyone who is willing and able to please donate whatever you can. I appreciate everyone for taking the time to read my story and helping me in my cause. Thank you in advance for all of your prayers and help in saving my life and extending the blessing of a better quality of life.
