Shepherd's Service Dog

Our little boy, Shepherd, is 5 years old and has Autism. When a diagnosis of Autism comes to your family your entire world changes. Life becomes rearranged around your child and his or her special needs. Our family continually juggles Shepherd's appointments with specialists, going to therapies, and working on skills such as communication, social skills, and behavior. To assist in Shepherd's development, our family believes that bringing a service dog into his life will help him handle the challenges he faces and for one of the dogs to be a constant companion to him.

A service dog has the potential to help Shepherd cope with many issues he struggles with as well as keep him safe and protected. These animals can assist in the event that he is separated from us due to his lack of understanding of boundaries and dangerous situations.

This is why we are asking for anyone's help in making this possible. Help us help our boy.
