Request for Support in Honoring Johnny’s Memory
Donation protected
[On behalf of my dear cousin, Veronica]
Dear Friends and Family,
With a humble heart, I come to you today, asking for help during this incredibly difficult time. As we all know, life is already a challenge, and the financial burden that comes with the loss of a loved one can feel overwhelming, especially when there was little warning. Sadly, my father, Johnny Arteaga Sr., passed away on November 19, 2024, after a brief and unexpected battle with illness.
My dad was a lifelong resident of Ennis, Texas, and he never met a stranger. He was known for his hard work, kindness, and willingness to help anyone in need, even if that meant giving the shirt off his back. He worked six days a week and even spent the day working on November 9, 2024, the day he was admitted to the hospital. From there, his health rapidly declined, but he fought with all his strength until he couldn’t fight anymore.
As someone who has always been on the other end of donation requests, I never imagined I’d be in this position myself. The grief of losing my dad is unimaginable, and the financial strain of laying him to rest is something I never expected to face.
If you find it in your heart to help, your support would mean more to us than words can express. No contribution is too small, and every bit will go towards honoring my father’s memory and easing the burden of his final expenses.
If you're unable to contribute financially, please know that your prayers and positive thoughts are just as valuable to us, and we appreciate them from the bottom of our hearts.
Thank you for your love, support, and understanding during this difficult time.
With gratitude,
Veronica
