East End Little League Scoreboard

Over the past several years, members of the East End Little League’s Executive Board have slowly, but surely, enhanced the league’s main playing facility located at Hampton West.  In March of 2019 a state of the art batting cage was installed.  In 2020 a storage container was purchased and a corresponding platform was built in order to safely house valued equipment.  That same year a high-end softball pitching machine was purchased.  A comparable machine was purchased this year in order to service the baseball teams.

While a volunteer pool has provided the labor necessary to bring the aforementioned projects to fruition, material and equipment have not been free.  By and large, these items have been paid for using the proceeds generated by the league’s annual fundraiser, the Homerun Happy Hour.   Unfortunately, COVID-19 has resulted in the cancellation of this event over the past two years.  As a result, the league has not been able to add to the reserve of funds set aside for such endeavors.  

Consequently, the East End Little League looks towards its community in order to achieve its latest goal, the installation of an electronic scoreboard at Hampton West.
