Ed Thomson's Memorial Bench

Hi, my name is Jess and I am raising money for Ed's memorial bench on Mitcham Common. Ed walked his dogs Crystal and Zeus on the common almost every day for at least 10 years and often went there by himself on walks too. In 2024, Ed was aiming to walk 10,000 steps every day, which consisted of daily walks on the common sometimes lasting up to 3 hours. Ed loved nature and often said how the common gave him peace and tranquility as it was one of his favourite places, even when muddy puddles took up the entire path! The bench will be located under a big tree in the middle of a route Ed frequently took. The target includes a plague engraving. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, but if you can't donate please do share the link with anyone you know who knew him. Any left over money will be donated to Crisis for Christmas, who Ed volunteered for every year.
