On June 30, 2021, Elias Herrera Sr. lost a hard fought battle with Cancer. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and leaves behind a loving wife, four children and 4 grandchildren. He was only 58 years old. 30days ago he was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer and although the news hit hard, so did his will to find a solution and recover. Hoping to get back on his feet and back to his life filled with adventure, travel and love for nature and family which he truly lived for... He had a serious of testing which took persistence from the Herrera's to persuade doctors to perform. Unfortunately, God had different plans; cancer had spread and his beautiful soul could no longer tolerate treatment. He gained his angel wings on June 30, 2021. Elias, without a doubt lived for the outdoors, nature, fishing, camping, explore his love for food, peace and most of all, loved his family unconditionally. He was a hard working, loving, wise, humorous, strong man who is truly loved so much and touched so many lives with his words of encouragement and love, throughout his life journey... we’re deeply saddened that he left us way too soon ... If you are able to help, the Herrera family would appreciate your support in raising enough funds to put together a beautiful memorial service which he is truly deserving of.
