Elizabeth Ham (Cline) and Malia Cline Fund

In her late teen years, Elizabeth was diagnosed with PCOS and was told that she wouldn't be able to have children. She came to accept it, but as time went on, and she fell in love, she silently prayed to God to let her have a baby. She had some very dark tunnels to crawl out of, but she was finally out of that serious depression, getting everything back on track, and returning to the strong women we all knew her to be. We found out on Valentine's Day 2020 that she was pregnant. February 24th she went to the OBGYN and found out that she was FIVE months pregnant and that this little miracle baby was a GIRL. Her due date was 7/7/2020. Malia is as stubborn as her mommy and didn't want out yet. Liz finally went into labor on 7/10/2020 where she slowly dilated from a 2 to a 6. During the wait of this beautiful baby's arrival, around 3:30AM on 7/11/2020 Liz had a seizure and went into cardiac arrest. Malia was cut from her body in order to survive. They brought Liz back twice until finally her fight was over. The doctor found blood clots in her heart. They said that amniotic fluid got into her lungs somehow and the body began to fight the foreign substance and clotted, leading those clots to her heart. She was so excited to meet this baby who gave her heartburn, kicked her in the ribs, and made her pee so often. Sadly, she was gone before she could even lay eyes on her miracle baby. We are all heart broken, but grateful that she was able to leave behind a beautiful little legacy. She passed away at 27 years old, joining the 27 Club.
Malia was born with a heart rate of 40bpm, which is EXTREMELY low for a baby, and had lack of oxygen. The doctors got her heart rate up and transferred her to get put on a cooling blanket to let her organs regenerate from the trauma of this birth. She is going to be on this cooling blanket for 3 days, with more stuff following. She will be in the hospital for at least a week getting tests, etc.
These funds will help Josh Cline, Liz's husband and father to Malia, and Liz's step son Liam Cline, with anything they need for this little girl. Some, if not all, will be put into an account for her to go college. However, with Malia still in the hospital, there will be bills that need paid.
I know we all loved her, she was my best friend, and now its time to give all the support possible to her family. Please help take this financial burden off of our shoulders so we only need to think about grieving. Thank you for any and all donations.
