Sunday May 10th, 2020, we lost a dear friend, daughter, sister and aunt, Elizabeth Leigh Young.
Elizabeth was born on July 23rd, 1973 to Donna and David Young (deceased) and has two brothers, David Jr. (deceased) and Brandon. Her passing was sudden and tragic and at this time we do not know the cause of death. Losing Elizabeth at the young age of 46 years is simply heartbreaking and devastating. In these unprecedented times, the family is grieving over a young daughter, sister, aunt and friend taken too soon.
Elizabeth was known for her love and loyalty to her family, especially her mother, father, brothers, nieces and nephews. Elizabeth touched the lives of many throughout her life and will never be forgotten.
Elizabeth had a love for life that was contagious to those who came in contact with her. Her smile could light up a room as soon as she walked in and she always made everyone laugh with her amazing sense of humor. Elizabeth took her role as daughter, sister and aunt very seriously and adored her nieces and nephews, Chase, Reed, Davonna, Jada and Davion. Please remember them in your prayers as this is a devastating loss for them.
This Go Fund me page is to assist her mother Donna Young with Elizabeth's cremation and memorial costs that the family was not prepared to cover. No parent should have to bury their child but Donna is now suffering the loss of a second child in this lifetime. Many times, these tragic events leave a family devastated from the tragedy of losing their loved one and the overwhelming weight and burden of the cost of burying a loved one.
