Eloisa's Fight with TTP
Donation protected
Eloisa was my classmate in college who lives in the Philippines. We have been trying to raise funds for her as she continuously battles with Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura (TTP), a rare blood disorder. She is on the last leg of treatments (plasma dialysis with a cycle of retuximab, a chemo drug) to see if her platelets would stabilize, but has exhausted all her resources. Her next and last one will be on November 21, which is the evening of the 20th in the U.S. Without these treatments, her platelets will crash, which will eventually lead to internal bleeding. Though she has continued working in order to try and sustain her medical and daily needs, it still is far from enough. All her savings have been drained and loans have piled up just to keep her going. Your support of any amount will help her finish off her treatments and pay off her medical bills. $1000 is needed to cover her treatment this week, although her true need is $10,000 to cover her medical bills. If 200 people can give $5, or 100 people give $10 each and so on, we can help her get her last treatment this week. Please also keep her in your prayers for complete healing and that her platelets will stabilize. She has been through so much and has been near death more than once, but she is not giving up hope and knows that she still has a purpose here on earth. Let's help her the best way we can.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Your donations will be forwarded to her and we will continue to update you on Eloisa's condition.
