My name is Aya M Al-Qattaa I'm a 28yo doctors and

I'm a mom of 8monthes baby (Omar) with esophageal atresia type. c " in this medical case the esophagus is not completed congenitally "

We live in Gaza under this inhuman war

my baby was born before 1month of the war

His surgery to repair the esophagus was done at age 3 day

Today he's need to complete his treatment journey, We should do barium swallow image to see if there's any stricture at the site of his surgery and to do the dilatation to able the food pass to the stomach. now he struggles with solid foods due to complications from his condition. I couldn't feed him a solid food, because when he start to eat he vomit every thing that mean he had a stricture. we couldn't do the necessary for him in Gaza because of this war

accessing medical care is extremely challenging. Our hospitals are disturbed , and basic necessities are scarce

Till now he is still exclusively breastfeeding

My son's need to eat has increased

In addition, there is no electricity so that I can not mash food for him by the blinder

I cannot even know his weight because we are displaced without anything, even any necessities for life

The medical points are not equipped to weigh children

Even his medication, Nexim, is not available, and I have provided it for him over the past few days with great difficulty, and I cannot guarantee that I will be able to renew it for him, and I may reach a day when I do not find it.

Days passed when I reduced the dose to ensure the continued presence of Nexim

We live in a displacement tent on the sea, between sand, a lot of insects, crowding, lack of water, and lack of hygiene, and all of this affects my son’s health.

This puts pressure on me to remain careful and awake at all times so that he does not pick anything up and put it in his mouth

My biggest concern is ensuring Omar receives the necessary medical care and safety amidst these harsh conditions. Additionally, the cost of evacuating my family from Gaza is prohibitive, making our situation even more desperate. my family member is 8, and the cost of travel to enter to Egypt is 7000$ per person
