Ethiopia Solutions - Interior Design Project
Greetings,
My name is Tseday Mekbib and I am a Project Ambassador for Ethiopia Solutions.
Ethiopia Solutions is a virtual platform that connects the Ethiopian diaspora with aspiring entrepreneurs residing in Ethiopia. Ethiopia Solutions helps aspiring entrepreneurs raise the seed capital they need to start/expand their businesses. As GoFundMe platforms are not fully functional in Ethiopia, we at Ethiopia Solutions recruit a Diaspora patriot volunteer to do the crowdfunding on behalf of the applicants we approve. It is simple collaborative approach to support job creation in Ethiopia. For more information, please visit our website www.ethiopiasolutions.com
This team project application was received in January 2019 and was reviewed thoroughly before being approved.
Meet Oliyad Demissie & Tedla Kebede who are architects and business partners. They both graduated from Mekelle University School of Architecture in 2017. They started their interior design business with a small home-based workshop located in Addis Abeba.
They have submitted a project proposal with a SWOT analysis of their business potential. They have submitted a budget breakdown for the funding they are requesting. They will be using the $5000 raised to purchase additional machineries, tools and a computer for
software designing. They also want to rent an office to serve as a show room.
I believe Oliyad and Tedla have a great potential to succeed and create employment for many other Ethiopians. That is why I decided to help them fundraise the capital they need to grow.
I invite you to use this opportunity to support and inspire other Ethiopians to seek entrepreneurial solutions to earn a decent living. Every year, 2 million young Ethiopians join the labor market looking for jobs. The government is unable to create millions of jobs by itself. Entrepreneurs and investors are the ones who can make a difference. This is one way we can help create jobs in Ethiopia. Please support this initiative and let us change the diaspora engagement paradigm one project at a time.
Please give what you can. I appreciate your generosity and patriotism.
