Bella needs Surgery
My sweet Raggle Bella needs surgery.
A few months ago we noticed her becoming agitated and rubbing at her face. She would whine and wiggle her face across the floor. Shortly after we noticed a bump starting to form. After a few visits to the vet we were told it was a cyst and to keep an eye on it.
it burst and went away, but has since come back only to do the same. This has happened a few times now and our vet said we need to have it removed. Our vet doesn’t think it’s cancerous, but has said he highly suggests us to get it removed and sent for testing just in case.
Because of COVID my work has been sending me home a good bit due to lack of work. Right now my income and my boyfriends income (he is currently on medical leave due to a bad hip) is enough to pay the bills and get food. He will be returning to work soon but it will take awhile to build up enough money (with bills and such) to be able to get this done.
I’ve tried to get some type of credit to help with this situation, but I wasnt Approved for whatour vet takes. My credit isn’t bad, I just don’t have enough established.
we have talked to the vet about payment plans, but even then our down payment will be expensive.
The surgery itself should be simple to remove it. They will cut it off and remove a small portion of her eyelid and stitch it back up.
If we don't remove it then she could lose sight in that eye due to it rubbing against her cornea.
Bella is also older and Our vet also wants to do x-rays for her arthritis and a dental cleaning.
Juat a few things about Bella that are important to note. She’s a rescue and highly anxious. We can’t take her to the vet without sedating her. She was rescued from a puppy mill and wetook her in from the rescue. Puppy mills are terrible places and because of what she’s gone through she is severely traumatized and has a lot of issues due to the inbreeding that takes place there. We’ve given her a good home and want to continue to insure her quality of life is the best, because she’s our baby and we love her. Bella is so energetic and so silly. She’s overalla happy, hyper dog despite her somewhat old age. I’ve seen her a bit more lethargic and bit more aggitated because of some of the things happening with her and it breaks my heart.
Also please note that any and all donations will go right into her vet funds and nothing will bespent on anything else. My baby’s health and happiness is everything to me. If you can find it in your heart to help I know She will be great full, as will I.
