FAA Class 1 Medical expenses

Hello friends and family, I am starting this gofundme because I have hit a roadblock. I am working on achieving my Private Pilots License through my work at Cirrus. I've gone through the ground school portion and am currently working on my Class 1 FAA Medical. The FAA has given me a very lengthy list of things they need from me. I have managed to get down to my last two items on the list. These two requirements are making appointments with a neuropsychologist and a psychiatrist who works closely with the FAA. Unfortunately, I have a 6 month window to get all of these requirements through to them and I am closing in on 5 months. The kicker is between these two appointments my insurance will not cover any of the costs and the costs are going to run around 7 thousand dollars. I'm feeling a little trapped at the moment and I'm trying everything to not let this be the end of the runway for me. I've been fascinated by airplanes since I was a little boy and it's been a dream of mine to fly airplanes for a very long time. It's really hard for me to reach out and ask for this kind of assistance however being in recovery has taught me exactly that this is what I need to do.
