April 2024 update:

Currently at my Grandma’s, my sister and I are both trying to get back on our feet and get a good job so we can one day move out, and in the meantime also help our Grandma out with finances when we can. Currently unemployed cause I was unable to transfer when I moved and we’re both looking for jobs, so donations are appreciated so much  

September 2023:

I wanted to add some updates again since the situation is always changing. We moved at the end of June, and money is decent I think but my dad just told me yesterday that he’s not going to get paid by our church that he’s a deacon at anymore, which really scares me, that was something that made me feel a lot more secure. He works as a teaching assistant now but I’m scared it’s not going to be enough money again. I really don’t want to move again, not anytime soon, I really need things to work out this time. I have a two jobs now, one of them doesn’t give me many hours though. I make some money but still don’t make a lot, and I still have to pay for my storage unit and help out when I can with money whenever I we go shopping. Please, I’m not sure how to reach more people, but please share this and consider donating if you see it. I just, really need to feel at least somewhat safe where I am. Around April 2023:

I wanted to add some updates on here since the situation has changed a bit. My dad is currently working but we’re not making enough to stay in the apartment we’re at right now, so we have to move. Our lease ends on May 1st and we have to move out by June 30th. I’m really having a hard time accepting it and part of me is still hoping that we will somehow be able to stay here, but I know we don’t have the money. This apartment is just really sentimental to me, I’ve lived here since I was three, so I don’t want it belong to someone else. But basically, what the situation is is that my sister and I are probably going to have our own place with two of her friends, and my dad’s looking at a separate place. I’m really scared and anxious about it because this is a huge change in my life. We’re still all struggling with money and trying our best to find ways to keep making money (my sister just got a job, I currently have two but again it’s hard on me mentally and it’s hard for me to work enough to make a lot of money). I want to continue to try to share my gofundme because I want us to be able to have enough money to live well, to have a good apartment and also have enough money for other things we need like food and gas. Around December 2022:

Here’s what I wrote originally: About two months ago my mom passed away and my family has been struggling with getting enough income and we’re concerned that we’re not going to be able to pay rent next month. My dad has been trying to find a job, but it’s been difficult for him to find something that doesn’t require him to stand or move around a lot (he’s 63 and has venous stasis). He did find something but it’s about 30 minutes away and I’m concerned about him going so far everyday for work. The job I currently have has been hard for me mentally, I try to work sometimes but I am also trying to find something else that will be better for me. This whole situation is honestly really overwhelming and scares me a lot, I don’t want to have to lose the apartment we have and have to get a smaller one and/or not have enough for all the things we need around the house, so I’m hoping that doing this will help. Any donations will be very much appreciated
