Fatima Whittle's Memorial Fund

My sister, Fatima, was a lot of things: a daughter, a mother, a friend. She knew how to have fun and laugh. The sister I knew was smart as hell and quick to pick up any skill. When she was ready to go or tired of people, good luck trying to reach her. (But try her house first though don’t expect fanfare or an invite inside.) I wouldn’t put it past her to have names for her wigs.

Despite a lot of her life being just hard, she had the most wonderful smile. On October 14th the world became a darker place without her in it. She was only 38. She leaves behind so, so many who loved her including her parents Julia and Melvin; siblings Nisha, Edmund and Melissa; children Juliah and Russell.
