Fight for Aaron

Monday September 30th, 2019 Aaron went into the ER at LRHC in Fergus Falls with weakness. Tests showed fluid on his brain. The test results were sent to Aaron's Neurology Specialist in the Cities. Dr. Nussbaum. It was decided he should be transfered to St.Paul. So Aaron was taken by ambulance to United Hospital in St.Paul.
CT and angiogram were done upon arrival. It was stressed to us the the surgery to drain the fluid off his brain was the last option, due to his AV malformation (enlarged blood vessels in his head). His whole family was by his side.
Tuesday Aaron's Dr's came through for morning rounds at 9am. They informed us the his condition had declined to a point that the surgery had to be done. At 9:45 am he was taken for a Stealth CT and went directly into surgery. The surgery went well with no complications. He seemed more alert , but was still having troubles communicating. Later that evening Aaron had a seizure and his heart went into Afib. He was sent for MRI and a ventilator was placed. It was the doctors feeling that his body was fighting so hard that the ventilator would help his body rest.
October 8th- Aaron still remains on the ventilator, but is breathing on his own during the day. Slowly he is regaining some control of his extremities, and follows us with his eyes. His heart is still in Afib. He has had no more seizures since the 2nd day of hospitalization. We are believing God for a MIRACLE!
Family has been with Aaron since September 30th when he went into the United Hospital in St. Paul. Floyd (Aaron's Dad) has taken time from work to be at Aaron's side, and family has been staying in hotels. We greatly appreciate your prayers and support. ❤
