Financial hardship after medical emergency

On 8/19/23 , I got to share the news about our newest family member in our huge Anderson family. My niece Ashley and her husband Jose welcomed into this world a beautiful baby girl Aliyah Rose Saldana . Ashley had a difficult delivery resulting in a c- section but both Mama and Baby were doing well.

This past Saturday Ashley started with a high fever that landed her in the ER and ultimately into surgery. They found a very large Abscess near her c section incision site. After surgery they decided it to be best to keep the site open as they wait for her insurance to allow her to get a wound vac that she so desperately needs to help heal her wound.

What is such a joyful time as she experienced given birth to her first child is being challenged with her own health and the worry of financial hardship as she will not be able to return to work for a unknown extended period of time and her husband having to take off work as well to care for both his beautiful wife and newborn daughter.

I know many of you have asked how you could help Ashley and Jose at this difficult time. I thought setting up this go fund me would help this young couple get through their financial hardship until Ashley heals and can return to work . Thank you so much for your prayers and support .
