Financial help for Funeral and Monument expenses.

Hi everyone. My name ia Darryl Woodcock some of you may know me and some of you may not however I am humbled to ask for help. Sometimes your world just crashes. Today is one of those days. On Thursday, June 27 2024, my father-in-law, Ronald Lockwood suffered a massive stroke, which left him with life altering changes consisting of paralysis of his body, incuding his ability to move upper body parts and speak.

Although, my wife and I reached Picton hospital while he was still alive his condition worsened to the point where there was nothing that could be done medically other than the doctors and staff to medicate him for comfort as a pallative care measure. My lovely wife - Ron's daughter, Lisa sat by his side at his hospital bed while he rested and God prepared his place in heaven.

It is with great sadness I announce that Lisa's, Dave's, and Dean's father has passed away today on June 28, 2024 and he has joined his spouse Betty in heaven, who passed away exactly 21 years less a day today. Not only did she pass away 21 years ago, it was a little over 60 days before Lisa and my wedding on August 30, 2003. Lisa's Dad was there and proudly walked her down the aisle while her Mom watched from heaven.

Through all of the years Lisa has been there for her dad and has travelled on numerous occasions to Picton to visit her Dad in LTC and to bring him home for visits, and is now heart broken beyond words. As she told her Dad now she will have two guardian angels watching over her.

At this time we are asking for monetary help in order to fund an unexpected funeral and headstone. As a humble family we would appreciate any and all support that can be offered.
