Flowers for Gordon's funeral, let's give him a good send off

Hi all, as you probably know Gordon De Fontenay passed away on 2nd June, aged 71. He had recently lost everything in a house fire and was spending his first night in his new flat after a long stay in hospital. With no family, his friends are organising his funeral which will be covered by the council, but if we want any flowers, memorial booklets etc these will need to be paid for. We hope to raise enough money to cover this, any extra money will be donated to charity to support the homeless as it was clear from Gordon's experience the support for this group is sorely lacking.

I want to flag that there was a go fund me after the fire, this money was used to cover his clothes, accommodation and the deposit and advance rent for his new flat so unfortunately is gone.
