(May 16, 2021) I have secured a new permanent venue in downtown Bloomington as part of an ongoing residency project overseeing the year-long transformation of my building into safe living spaces, studios, and a gallery. For the safety of our team, we will remain closed to the public until the pandemic restrictions have been lifted. Online curation is our focus after our renovation work is complete and funding goals met (as per our timeline).
We need this space. I don’t need to explain why, because it simply doesn’t exist. Our city does not have spaces that prioritize the lives of black and brown trans people and that is not okay. Show us love by paying us to make this happen so we can secure our futures and continually redistribute to artists.
