Ankle reconstruction surgery

 

What started as a fun 8 year old skating party ended with me at the ER after falling on roller skates. I have spiral fractures all the way around, broken fibula and tibia in two places (front & back.) Along with my ligament pulled out of place and can no longer move my 3 of my toes. I will be needing surgery soon to place a plate and multiple screws to hold my bones together and bring my tendon back to place. We’re hopeful that after surgery I will be able to have full range of motion and be able to walk again. Without surgery my ankle will be unstable and I will not be able to walk on it ever again. Recently, I started a new job and my health insurance benefits will not begin until April. Which is why I am starting this fundraiser. Currently trying to approve COBRA but if we all know the government is slow, so I will to pay for my surgery out of pocket which is a little over $11,000. As you can imagine this is a stressful time and I would appreciate any kind of donations even if it’s just prayers! Thank you!
