Free ballet classes for kids
Donation protected
For my Graduation Project from State College, PA, I decided to give kids who can't afford it the oppertunity to learn ballet, an art that I've loved for years. I am teaching 1 class a week from the end of September to the beginning of December for one hour, and will be choreographing a Nutcracker performance for my students at the end! I am having 6-30 kids from ages 3-15, and all profits will go to helping them pursue dance if they wish. This money will be initially used to buy the students everything they need to dance, and potentially costumes. At the final performance, 75% will go to the dancers wishing to pursue ballet by being put into a scholarship at my local ballet school. The last 25% will be used to furthering this project into neighboring cities (Altoona, Bellefonte, Carlisle, Philadelphia, etc). I feel that anybody who would like to dance should be able to, and not worry about the money. I am looking to get any money I could possibly get as soon as possible, so that I can buy their clothes and equipment. I appreciate any help I can get, and feel very passionately about this program! I am very qualified, with dance training from Paris and Carlisle, very good schools in their own way.
