It is our intention to donate this money to pay for registration fees for Nurses and Midwifes. We will request a list of registration numbers from NMBI and will raffle off the funds to pay the membership fee for that person.

There is no Personal or Financial benefit for anyone involved in this fundraiser. We hope to do something small to say thank you.

During the Covid Pandemic there hasn't been anyone workers in Ireland that have done so much and asked so little in return.  As most people are unaware all nurses and midwives who practice in Ireland must be registered on the Register of Nurses and Midwives which is maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).

This fee is €100 per person per annum. 

The reason we have set up this page is to try and do something to show our appreciation for all their hard work, sacrifices and dedication over the last year.

Currently there are over 181,000 registered live companies in Ireland. What I would ask each of these business owners is to sponsor 1 no Nurse or Midwife or what you can. 

I appreciate that some businesses are suffering during this pandemic and we wouldn't ask you to do anymore than just survive and re-open but if business can please consider sponsoring 1 no Nurse/Midwife.

Currently around 78,000 nurses and midwives are registered.
