Fuel Saxx's Tacos Comeback with a Food Truck

Hello everyone. My name is Saxx Williams. I am the owner of a small service station restaurant in Austin, Texas. On July, 27th 2024 I will have been in business for two years. I started this business extremely down on my luck with only $20.00 to my name. I found this empty service station restaurant kitchen in my neighborhood and thought to myself if only I could manage to obtain that property and start a business. Generally with a grand total of a twenty-dollar bill in your pocket pursuing business ownership is typically not on the table. Luckily, I am not a typical man. I reached out to the owner of the building and asked for a meeting. We met up and talked things out. At the end of a genuine conversation, we shook hands and the deal was done. I worked three jobs for the first year in business to fund my small operation. From day one I swore an oath to myself to never compromise on the quality of my food. You see, I may be located in a service station, but my quality, my passion, and my drive supersede many establishments you may consider to be fine dining. This has been an extremely hard battle, but yet I never waivered in my conviction. Over the past six months, Saxx's Tacos has finally broken through the ice and earned my reputation as the place to eat on my side of town. 72 hours ago my business got torn to the ground. Quite literally. After a gunman seized control of our property and thankfully allowed me to escape with my life. After a very intense stand-off with police and the destruction of our building, the suspect lost his life and I lost a business for now. I have no doubts in my ability to rebuild my business, but I fear the effects that stigma may place on my restaurant could be in the short term catastrophic so I am starting this GoFundMe to attempt to raise the funds for a food truck.
