Fund Margaret's Home Lift Elevator for Accessibility
Donation protected
Dear Donor,
My name is Kenneth Speaks; I am Margaret Ann Speaks Elloie’s uncle. On June 13, 2024, she underwent surgery to have her left leg amputated below the knee due to peripheral artery disease (PAD). She lives in a two-story home with an entrance 10 feet above ground level.
She recently came home from the hospital and to maneuver up and down the stairs is a serious challenge, it requires three to four people rolling her in a wheelchair up and down one step at a time.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to help her pay for a passenger lift (elevator). Unlike traditional home elevators, an outdoor elevator lift is freestanding and does not necessitate a more costly house renovations for installation.
I am asking for your support in raising funds for the purchase and installation of this equipment. I’m going to start the fund with a personal contribution of $1000. Any amount you can contribute towards achieving this goal will be greatly appreciated.
Your donation will go toward a Voyager Cargo Lift 4-inch beams stainless steel 1 hp motor size 1000 lbs. lift capacity
Thank you in advance for your generous contribution. Your support means a great deal to Margaret and her family.
Thank You Once Again!
Sincerely,
Kenneth Speaks
