Help a Young Female Artist Fund Her Education

Hi, my name is Kyneijee Wubah. I am a nineteen year old, second year transfer student at New York University, and a proud member of the acclaimed Tisch School of the Arts, as a dance  major. Tisch’s Dance Department is equipped with some of the finest teaching staff within the arts community. As for the students, we are a diverse, talented and supportive group of individuals with a love for this craft. This program is feeding my ambitions and dreams as a performer, but due to NYU’s demanding tuition, one of the most expensive in the world, there is now a large roadblock in my education. Not only has it become difficult to continue my education through the online and in person hybrid experience, but I now have a constant, lingering anxiety surrounding  my financial obligation. This has been a shock to my system, since I am a product of the public education system as well as a low income, single parent household. Unfortunately this expense is simply too much for my family to take on. While my initial plan relied on a co-signer, due to a medical crisis, she is no longer available. Therefore taking out federal loans is no longer an option. Over the past few months I have sought out other resources and tried to find alternatives to funding even a portion of this enormous debt, which is due in November. While I’d love nothing more than to focus my energy on pursuing my passion, it has become nearly impossible to see a foreseeable future at an institution if I cannot afford. 

Whatever you can spare to donate, be it change or any dollar amount, would be greatly appreciated. I’m aware how overwhelming this goal amount is, but with your collective efforts, I could potentially pay this bill off with little hassle. Thus far my experience at NYU has been nothing short of exceptional. I have grown as an individual as well as an artist. I am a young, healthy, talented, hard working, black female artist. Please believe in my dream enough to help me overcome this financial burden.
