Fundraiser for a bathroom changes for handicapped

Hello, My name is Jose, I am a 47 years old, I have a birth defect called Spina Bifida, I am a paraplegic and am in a wheelchair.

I recently was diagnosed with kidney disease and was hospitalized for 5 days to treat my kidneys and a urinary tract infection

My birth defect causes me to have numerous bladder infections. I have no feeling in several areas of my body that makes me have to do multiple catheterizations every day that puts me in constant risk of infections

I was told by my physical therapist that I can no longer take baths in my bathtub because it poses a big risk of me getting injured. I cannot stand up so I used to constantly sit down and take a bath instead of showering.

But now my physical therapist has told me I can no longer take baths for my own safety. I now face a big problem

My bathroom has a tub that I must remove completely and replace it with a walk in shower that is wheelchair accessible. if I don't do this, I cannot shower and be completely clean, I have only had sponge baths for the past 2 months, not being able to fully clean myself. I also will need to get a wheelchair commode that is water resistant so I can shower without having to use my daily wheelchair, which is not water resistant. I live with my mother and she helps me as best she can washing me, however it just isn't enough to get me completely clean. My mother has arthritis which makes things harder for her to help me.

What. I need now is help converting my bathtub into a walk in shower space with a ramp....my family has already found a company that does this conversion and has already started a contract with them., They will begin this project on October 4th.

The Cost of the entire project will cost my family approximately $11,500. this includes the cost of a waterproof wheelchair. My family has already put down a down payment to begin the project and I have put up my savings to help with the expense. ( I can provide proof of my costs for this project for those that want it, I will gladly show it to you)

I now am humbly asking for help raising the funds I need to find this project that I really need. I would appreciate it highly if you can help my family and I with my need. I am asking God for his help and am putting all my trust and faith on him, and I'm already thanking him for his help, Praise Jesus!
