While Shana and David were leaving Loshusan Supermarket, they were targeted by unknown local gang members believed to be from the PNP. The robbery escalated into a horrific act of violence, leaving Shana and David dead. The case remains unsolved, leaving Aaliyah heartbroken and devastated.

Now, Aaliyah is unexpectedly caring for her traumatized 10-year-old grandson, Amir. Facing unimaginable grief, Aaliyah's strength lies in her love for Amir. However, the financial burden is immense.
