Hello, my name is Ashley and I am a very close friend to Michael Henry who lost his mother on 4/26/2024 due to complications of cancer. Shari has been battling Kidney cancer for 6 Years. She has spent most of years at Benedictine Living Community in Crookston MN. On 4/26/2024 started off as a great day for Michael, Around 11:30am Michael got a call from river view medical center in Crookston MN stating they were going to be airlifting Shari to Altru in grand forks ND due to some complications of her cancer. After hours of waiting for confirmation that she arrived at Altru, we had learned that they sent her to Sanford in Fargo ND instead. At this point in time we had learned the cancer had spread to her stomach and also went to her brain which was causing swelling in her brain. As we rushed to get to Sanford in Fargo ND from grand forks ND, as we approached Mayville ND we got the worst call anyone could receive and that was that Shari had passed away. Once we arrived to Sanford and got up to the 3rd floor in hospice we learned that she was taken to the morgue already. Michael Never got to say goodbye to his mother, The last conversation he had with his mother was on 4/24/24 and she seemed like she was in a daze. Michael and Shari had a great mother and son relationship, mike would work open to close daily to help support his mother on anything and everything she needed while putting his needs last, no matter what his mother always came first. Shari was really big on family values and raising her sons and following her Christian beliefs.

Unfortunately due to the unexpected medical expenses for the 6 years and her cancer taking a sudden turn for the worst, followed by her unexpected passing away has left michael with both medical and large funeral expenses. Any help would be greatly appreciated
