Fundraiser for men's mental health
We are approaching five years since we lost a best friend, brother, and legend in Luke Duhig and sadly lost an idol and half-brother in Warren Cox to mental health just over a year ago. I have always wanted to do a fundraiser for a great cause like this. I am sure anyone reading this has been impacted similarly, losing a loved one too soon. A space where we all have a story, and the importance of sharing these stories to help educate the future and current generations can't be stressed enough.
For those who are unaware, I have been streaming on Twitch for over a year now, playing Call of Duty for fun in my spare time. As the new year approaches, I have decided to give up my streaming career to focus on other things. I couldn't think of a better way of finishing than with a charity event. My last stream will be on Friday night, and I will donate $1 for each kill, if anyone else would like to be a part of the fundraiser, I have made this gofundme so that you can donate if you wish. I will keep a visible tally of my donation throughout the stream, which will be separate from this gofundme. If you are keen on having a watch on Friday the link is:
Even if you aren't able to donate, sharing this post could be enough for someone to have one of those hard conversations. Raising awareness and having a conversation is just as important as raising money for programs. Any engagement with this event is greatly appreciated!
All money will be donated to Beyond Blue - specifically for suicide awareness and prevention.
