A Gazan family resists injustice & dreams of a better future

Donation protected
In Gaza, where stories of pain and resilience are written, Mousa's family, consisting of 7 members, struggles to build a decent life amidst harsh conditions.

Within a few days, this family was subjected to injustice beyond their capacity:

Their only car was bombed, leaving them without a means of transportation to meet their daily needs forcing them to walk long distances under the scorching sun and exposing them to harassment from the occupiers.

Their house was subjected to heavy shelling which destroyed it completely leaving them homeless. so, they now live in a temporary shelter lacking the most basic necessities of life, surrounded by fear and anxiety.

The children, who are supposed to enjoy a happy childhood, now suffer from psychological trauma, are deprived of education and the joy of playing.

The father, Mousa, a university professor with a PhD in Business Administration, struggles to provide for his children, in the face of extremely difficult economic conditions.

The mother, Rasha, who loves to cook, dreams of opening her own restaurant to provide an income for the family, but the blockade hinders her from achieving her dreams.

  • Ahmad (15 years old) who loves technology, Dreams of becoming a computer engineer and contributing to the development of his community, but the lack of resources threatens his dreams.

  • Sarah (15 years old) who loves helping people, Dreams of becoming a doctor and providing care for the needy, But the bleak reality hinders her ambitions.

  • Zina (13 years old) who loves drawing and fashion design, Dreams of becoming a fashion designer and sharing her creativity with the world, but the difficult circumstances stifle her creativity.

  • Farah (7 years old) who loves drawing and coloring, dreams of becoming an artist and bringing joy to people's lives, but sadness looms over her childhood.

  • Tamim (2 years old) who loves playing with airplanes, dreams of becoming a pilot and traveling the world, but the harsh reality threatens his innocent dreams.

Amidst these bleak circumstances, the Mousa family's dreams shine like a ray of hope that illuminates their path.

The father, Mousa, despite the hardships of life, insists on providing a good education for his children, believing that education is their only way to build a better future.

The mother, Rasha, despite the lack of resources, tries hard to provide a safe environment for her children, where they feel love and warmth.

And Ahmad, Sarah, Zina, Farah, and Tamim, despite their young age, are aware of the difficulties of life, and are determined to achieve their dreams, believing that the future is still ahead of them.
