Eagle Scout Service Project

Hello everyone! My name is John Peloquin, I'm a Life scout and member of Troop 821 from Westfield, MA. I'm very close to completing my requirements for the rank of Eagle scout, and the most difficult requirement is completing a community service project. My project is installing a Fit Trail at Southampton Road Elementary School. I am a determined scout willing to do a memorable, long lasting project. The downside of this is, before installing the fit trail, I have to buy the materials needed to build this project. It costs about $6,000 to purchase a 10 station fit trail. This Fit Trail, however, is not just for the school itself, it is for the entire community of Westfield to use at anytime. It is a great way to stay in shape while enjoying a user-friendly system that encourages you to do various exercises on your run. You can race with friends, go through it by yourself or with the entire family. I plan to begin the installation process in June of 2017, and it will only take about one weekend to finish.
