Hi Y’all

Most of you will know who we are, but if you don’t we are the Cardwell Clan.

At the risk of Guy, my husband, and the leader of this crazy clan wanting to hurt me for creating this, here goes nothing….

 

If you know Guy, he is the most loving, giving, and helpful person I have ever met in my life. Many of you have experienced his generosity first hand. Not monitory generosity, but the donation of his time and skills to help anyone who needs it.

Now all of this is at risk. On Tuesday while helping a friend move a table, he heard a pop and tear in his arm. Soon there after I got a call from him, telling me he torn his bicep.

He want to Direct Orthopedic Care about two hours later and they sent him for an MRI to determine the severity of the rupture. Of course he could achieve what only 3% of people with this kind of injury get… full tear from the elbow bone.

Yesterday 06/02/22 he meet with the orthopedic surgeon and while these types of surgery is pretty successful, recovery and physical therapy required for full Mobility and full muscle strength will take 12 months plus to recover in full.

Y’all I’m emotionally drained, I know our entire life has just got turned on it’s head and I’m helpless. If Guy or I had ever helped you  and you appreciated it please consider donating anything, even a dollar or two would help. I really hate even doing this but I don’t know what else to do. We have considered all options from selling our property to me working nights. Currently, Guy is in A lot of pain and gets up and goes to work since he transitioned to management several years ago he can delegate responsibilities. While any manual labor is out he’s learning to ask for help, slowly but surely!

 

Y’all Guy is 41 years old he needs his arm back.
